Amber was born in El Paso, Texas and has lived all over. She comes from a military family where pets were always included in each move, even overseas. She came to San Antonio when she was ten. She has two older brothers and was always the one who brought strays home. She now has four cats and two dogs. Her interests are running, sports, reading, animals, and helping people. She aspires to become a nurse yet knows animals will always be a part of her life. She really enjoys her job, working in a veterinarian’s office.

Currently a senior at James Madison High, Chris was born in Panama and grew up mostly overseas in Germany, due to her father's military background. Chris has always possessed a keen interest with anything to do with animals. Whether it's raising rabbits and lambs at her school or simply volunteering, Chris has always enjoyed the work. Prior to becoming a kennel technician, Chris volunteered her time at the clinic for two years. What attracted Chris to CPHC was the opportunity to experience firsthand what it was like behind the scenes of a clinic, as well as, observing all types of surgeries. Chris plans to continue her education after graduating from high school, in pursuit of her dream to become a wildlife veterinarian.
